SproutBox – A Fun New Family Devotional Resource

As a way of trying to be the primary spiritual influencers in our home, my wife and I do family devotions with our kids multiple times a week.

Sprout Box

One new resource that we came across and tried is called SproutBox.  We found it to be an engaging and fun devotional experience for our family, as it included:

  • a parent’s step by step guide to make things simple
  • a fun opening activity for the entire family (with a free downloadable app that makes the activity really come to life)
  • a brief lesson that combined the Bible truths with a fun story
  • and supplies for a really cool family activity that tied everything together

Our family loved it, and I think that your family will to.  If you’d like to get  your own SproutBox, or to find out more info, click here.

“The research reinforces one simple but profound truth over and over again: if you want to have a lasting influence upon the world, you must invest in people’s lives; and if you want to maximize that investment, then you must invest in those people while they are young… If you connect with children today, effectively teaching them biblical principles and foundations from the start, then you will see the fruit of that effort blossom for decades to come. The more diligent we are in these efforts, the more prodigious a harvest we will reap.”

“Dad needs to show an incredible amount of respect and humor and friendship toward his mate, so their kids understand their parents are best friends.  If I respect Mom, they’re going to respect Mom.”

Tim Allen

“I make a lot of money, and I’ve given a lot of it to charities; but I’ve given all of myself to my wife and the kids, and that’s the best donation I’ll ever make.”

Bill Cosby

“When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around.  But when I got to twenty-one, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.”
